Diane Shortliffe, age 83, of Bedford, NS passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025 at the Halifax Infirmary with her family by her side.

She was born in Digby, NS and was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Dorothy Grant.

Diane worked for MT&T and later Bell, for more than 25 years, finishing her career as a service representative.

Mom loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, granddog and her friends. She had a quick wit, a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile.

Diane is survived by her son, Michael (Barb) of Brookside, her daughter Michelle (Stephen) of Grand Pré, her grandsons Brandon (Beth) and Cole (Julia), nephews Kevin and Kent and niece Jennifer.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Joan, brother-in-law Richard (Ellis), and niece Jill (Comeau).

Private family interment will take place at a later date in Barton Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the SPCA.
