It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Margaret 'Margie' E. (Borgal) O'Handley, on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Margie was the loving wife and best friend of Danny for 54 wonderful years and a devoted, incredible mother to her four children. Her kindness, laughter, and loving spirit were the foundation of her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Margie is survived by her beloved husband, Danny; her children, Jeff (Natasha), Liza (Brian), Chris, Anthony (Ashley); her cherished grandchildren Shelby, Daniel, Felicity, Tyler, Jorja, Ainsley and her precious great-granddaughter, Sophia.

Cremation has taken place. As per Margie's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 1 p.m. with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199).
