Marilyn Ann Roache, age 78, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Muriel Edwards.

Marilyn dedicated 37 years of service as a financial clerk with the Department of Community Services. A woman of quiet strength and warm heart, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, curling up with a good book, solving crossword puzzles, bowling with friends, and browsing local yard sales.

She is survived by her loving son, William (Michelle); cherished grandchildren, Caitlyn (Alain) and Braxton; and her precious great-grandchild, Beau.

Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry, and her parents, Ben and Muriel.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to cousins, Donna and Corrinne, for their unwavering support in recent years, and to the compassionate nursing staff on Four East at the Dartmouth General Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Marilyn's memory.
