It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Ross Andrews on July 19, 2025, surrounded by family, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, at the age of 64. Scott grew up in Westmount, Nova Scotia, before moving to Point Edward, where his family built their farm from the ground up.
Alongside his brother Mike, Scott became well known in the community as one of the local milkmen – a role he cherished and carried with pride. He later went on to own and operate his own dairy farm and quota, pouring his heart into the land, the animals, and the lifestyle he loved so deeply.
Scott was not only a dedicated farmer, but also a devoted and loving father to his three children. His strength, kindness, and unwavering support were hallmarks of his character. His farm was his pride and joy, second only to his family. Those who knew Scott will remember his selflessness, his work ethic, and his deep generosity. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back without hesitation – always there to lend a hand, a tool, or a kind word. Scott leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and community spirit that will never be forgotten.
Scott is survived by his children: Sam Andrews, Blair (Gracie) Andrews, and Glenn (Kristen) Andrews; his grandchildren Brooklynn, Bella and Weston; his sister Glenda Keys; and his nephews Breton Keys and Aaron Keys. He will also be missed by his loyal dog, Duncan, his life partner Joyce Morris, her two sons Ryan and Nathan; and many extended family members, friends, and neighbors who loved and respected him.
He was predeceased by his mother, Marlene Andrews, father, Glenn “Buddy” Andrews, and brother, Mike Andrews. Scott leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and quiet strength that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 6 Churchill Drive, Sydney, NS, 902-539-7175.
