So sorry to hear of Scott's illness and passing . He was a great neighbour and friend here in Leitches Creek . He wasn't here long but made his stamp very quickly as a great guy . He spent several Christmas Eve's here with us and we loved the laughter he added to the evening . He became a friend we knew we could count on for help, hay, advice, laughter, smiles,a truck,or even telling us how NOT to do something . He always made a day better .Though he was only our neighbour for fewer years than we wanted,he was our friend forever .We loved Scott. Hang in there Glenda and kids ,his memories and love will live forever . Hang tight to them ,those memories and that love will get you through the hard times . Ina Green

Scott offered to help me on the day he met me. I was later to find out that this was just who he was. Always ready to lend a hand, a trailer, his truck or a laugh. Scott helped us build our farm and rescue my horse and didn’t even complain when the big red bastard broke the fence and I called him early one morning to help! Scott loved my perch mare, I think because he remembered younger days when his brother was still with him. Scott left a wonderful legacy and I know I will carry him with me forever. Love Colette, Shaun, Freya, Gambit and Archie.

I have so many memories of visiting the cows in the barn as a young cousin visiting the farm in Point Edwards. I always picture Scott laughing and teasing us Larade kids. He was such a lively and kind spirit to be around.

To all of Scott's family and loved ones, I am so saddened to hear of his passing. He was a gem and taken way to soon. I remember going to the barn dances at the farm and ohhh soooo much fun. Also Scott worked with us at C200 and he was always a pleasure to see arrive at work. I will miss his tartar sauce he use to whip up for us to have our supper. He truly was a gem of a guy and gone way to soon. Rest easy Scott you will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayer for all

Q: What will you never forget about Scott?
A: I will never forget the fun that we had when we were kids when I would come to Sydney during the summer with my mom (Scott’s aunt). Scott and his brother Mike were always laughing and I have so many happy memories.

To the Andrews family.
There are no words that can help your hurt right now. We are so sorry for your loss. Scott was a great guy and a lifelong friend. The thing he was most proud of for sure were his kids. Always keep that in your hearts as it is something he made sure everyone knew. He never had to say it. You could see it. Prayers to you all.

Q: What was Scott really good at?
A: We loved how he made Joyce laugh. What a love story, those two. Scott was the kind of guy, once he started talking he would likely have you laughing within minutes. Scott had a heart as generous as his smile. That smile, that laughter, that kindness, that quick wit and his stories that he shared so freely will remain in our hearts. Scott will be missed so very much. Our hearts go out to you Joyce, his love, and Sam, Blair, Glenn, Nathan, Ryan and family. Hugs to you all.
Love Avril & Richard

I was so sad to see Scott’s obituary today. My husband and I lived a few houses down from the Andrew’s family when we first were married and Scott and Michael were two of the first people we met and weren’t much younger than us at the time. We became friends and met many other in the community through them. They were so full of life . My husband Gray was also a milkman at the time so he and Scot had a lot of chats. It was always a treat to run into Scott and see his smiling face. RIP Scott you will be missed

Scott's family , Glenda and friends.
So sorry to hear of Scott's passing. We were childhood friends and I grew up near Scott on Midgley Drive. He was fantastic friend and a great person! I have so many good memories - including spending a couple of days in Margaree with Scott and his family, trying to rope a cow at the family home, shooting the drag on Friday and Saturday nights in Sydney, dances in the basement of the family home etc. He came from a lovely family and Scott lived by the values they taught/passed down to him. Always cheerful and generous, he will be missed. Although we only ran across each other only occasionally over the years, our growing years in Westmount were made better and more memorable by Scottie being part of them . May family ,friends and time help you with your loss.
RIP ole friend.
