It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Doreen Wright on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Glace Bay Hospital.

Born in St. John, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Orman and Irene Quinlan.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Doreen was employed with Levi’s Strauss & Company and later Gart Electric in Ontario before retiring to Cape Breton.

She enjoyed going to Bingo and dancing, crossword puzzles and spending time with Dan.

Doreen is survived by her partner Dan McIntyre of 23 years and the McIntyre family; his daughter Joy Warne; grandson Joshua (Angela) Warne and her precious great grandchildren, Dylan, Logan and Mackenzie as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Kevin Quinlan and her siblings, Patricia, Mary, Paul and Benjamin.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a private graveside service.
