It is with deep sadness that we the family of Tammy Ward, 49, announce her passing on July 7, 2025, in Edmonton, AB. Tammy is the daughter of Linda and the late Roy Ward, of Dominion, N.S.

Tammy was born and raised in Dominion, N.S., but lived most of her life in Edmonton, AB. Tammy was one of a kind, strong willed, quick witted, and always unapologetically herself. She had a flare for life and believed in looking good, whether she was crafting something clever, digging in her garden, or diving into a book; Tammy brought her own signature to everything she did.

Tammy may no longer be with us, but her sassy style and heart will never be forgotten. We will miss her deeply and will keep her spirit alive with every eye roll, belly laugh, and every garden that grows a little wild.

Tammy is survived by her mom Linda (MacNeil)Ward, a sister Donna (Brian) McMahon, partner John Turnbull, as well as several nieces and nephews: best friends Laura Sharpe and Gail Ward.

Along with her dad, Roy Ward, Tammy was predeceased by her brother Fabe Ward.

A special thank you to the nurses and doctors in Edmonton Medical Centre, your compassion and kindness will always be remembered.

Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Tammy’s Life will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 408 Mitchell Avenue, Dominion, N.S., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
