Dear Mrs. Ward and Donna,
In Loving Memory of Tammy
Although it has been many years since we last spoke, Tammy has never been far from my thoughts. Just recently, I went to reach out to her on Facebook, only to come across the heartbreaking news of her passing. My heart aches for all who loved her, especially you.
Tammy was a genuinely kind and funny soul, and a wonderful friend to me during our high school years. The memories we shared remain vivid and cherished. Though life led us down different paths and time created distance, her warmth stayed with me.
I take comfort in believing she is reunited with Mr. Ward and Fabe, and that one day, we will all meet again. My deepest condolences to you and everyone grieving this incredible loss. May you find peace in your memories and strength in each other.

Tammy is unforgettable. Tammy at her worst can be described as flawed. Flawed just like me, flawed just like you, flawed just like all of humanity. Each one of us can be described as a vessel that holds a lifetime of our experiences. Sure Tammy could be quick to reveal what was held in the vessel when the vessel was agitated, but at her best Tammy can be described as the perfect example of kindness in an apathetic world. I have witnessed Tammy take the time to spend a moment to talk to a homeless man. A man loitering around a McDonalds parking lot with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Probably just wanting to be noticed and feel like someone would look at him instead of look past him. She then went into the restaraunt and came out with food and a drink and gave it to the man. That is something I wouldn’t have thought of doing or have taken the time to do but it is something that stood out to me. And now I can’t help but think of this.
Mathew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Q: What will you never forget about Tammy?
A: I wonder how many people we shall meet in heaven who will come up to us and take us by the hand and say I thank GOD for the day I met you. You were a blessing to me. I know that when I see Tammy again I can let her know how much she blessed me with. She blessed me with the greatest of love the greatest of experiences the greatest of friendship and my greatest growth as a person.

In Loving Memory of My Friend, Tammy Ward
My life has been forever changed by the nightly conversations I shared with Tammy. Through all her struggles with alcoholism, she wore a brave face and still made time to care for others. Even when she was hurting, she never turned away from someone in need—offering a bottle of water, an apple, or a granola bar with quiet kindness.
Tammy had a generous heart and a deep compassion for the people around her. She was always willing to lend a hand, often not realizing that she was the one who needed it most.
I will miss her more than words can say and will carry her always in my heart.
