July 13, 1959 – June 16, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tammy Jean Hart, who left us peacefully on June 16, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She was 65 years old.

Born in London, Ontario, Tammy dedicated her life to caring for others — both in her work and in her personal life. She spent her career as a cleaner, taking great pride in her work and the sense of order and care she brought to every space she touched.

Tammy was the loving mother of April and Trevor Hart, who were the pride and joy of her life. She is survived by her siblings Bruce Westhaver (Dawn), Sabrina McMullin, and Belinda McMullin (Glen), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who cherished her deeply.

She was predeceased by her mother, Veronica Wagner, and her brothers Kim and Jimmy Westhaver.

Tammy spent her final years at Harbourview Haven, where she received incredible care, compassion, and dignity. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Harbourview Haven (Black Harbour Square), for your kindness, guidance, and loving care meant the world to us.

Tammy will be remembered for her generous heart, her talent in the kitchen, and her thoughtfulness. Her potato salad and banana bread were legendary. She never missed an opportunity to make others feel seen and appreciated. Whether it was remembering to get cards or gifts for her nieces and nephews to give their parents, or simply lending a listening ear, Tammy had a way of making everyone feel special.

She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, 26 Jun 25, 11:00 AM At Gates of Heaven Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her mother and her two brothers.
