It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Carol Ann Easton, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on June 15, 2025.

Carol was born in Kenville, NS on July 20, 1951, to Theresa (LeBlanc) & Donald Harnish.

Besides her mother, Carol is survived by her partner, Dan Comeau; son, James (Beverly) Easton; daughter, Melissa (Traci Miller) Easton; grandchildren, Cole (Julia) Easton, Paula & Jakob Easton; brothers, Gary (Thelma) Harnish, Wayne (Shirley) Harnish, “Bro” Gordon Harnish, Donnie (Joanne) Harnish, David (Francine) Harnish; sisters, Dorothy (Richard) Crombie, Shirley (Gary) Charlton; brother-in-law, Glynn Nason; sisters-in-law, Ellen, Frances & Deb Easton; mother-in-law, Carole; her precious dog Gizmo, Aunts, an uncle & several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Carol was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Paul; her father, Donald; sister, Linda Nason; brothers-in-law, Richard & Charles Easton; sister-in-law, Nancy Cormier & niece Rachael Cormier.

Carol worked most of her life in retail where she thrived, mostly due to her kind heart, upbeat & friendly personality. She was known for her amazing work ethic & perfectionism in everything she did, especially cleaning, it was said, you could eat off her floors. She had a positive attitude and was a free spirit who was full of life, vibrant, strong and always made everyone feel welcome, special & loved. The last few years she took a special interest in spirituality and became a spiritual healer, and she had a very special relationship with God and the Angels.

A special thank you to Carole Deveau for all her compassion and care shown towards Carol in the weeks leading up to her hospital stay.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the QEII ER and the palliative care unit at the VG.

A Celebration of Life will take place later.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a SPCA, Hospice or Palliative Care unit of choice.
