Dear Judy, Janet, Jim, and families:
I was sorry to hear of Aunt Eva's passing. She was such a lovely, kind and gentle woman - and a patient "straight wo(man)" for Uncle Ev's hi-jinks and one-liners! Over the last few months, I have been sorting and organizing many boxes of family slides and have come across a number of Eva and Ev; they brought back memories of their visits to our home on Armcrescent West, the cottage in PEI, and Mom and Dad's visits on a couple of occasions to their place in Florida. There were also our family visits to the "BAV" and their home in Kentville (usually during Apple Blossom Festival weekend), and later their home on Novalea Drive. I lived in Kentville for a year following university, and Eva and Ev were always so kind to invite me regularly for dinner, or a drive for ice-cream. Eva was always so warm and welcoming on those visits.
Sending sincere condolences on the loss of your mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. I know you will have many wonderful memories to hold on to as you grieve her loss.
