Paul Orville Kennedy was born on August 19, 1946 and passed away peacefully on May 6,2025 at Colchester Easts Hants Hospital, surrounded by his family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.

Dad was in the automotive business for over 30 years. His true heart lied at his home place in Pleasant Valley NS, where he grew up with his parents and 3 brothers. He was an avid fisherman and hunter in his younger years. He loved to take mom and I on camping trips to the lake or just go out in his boat for relaxation. Dad looked forward every year to the annual fishing trips with the "BOYS", but never caught one fish! Dad's prized possession besides his family was his 1952 jeep. Dad loved to play his guitar during social occasions. He also took up cooking, which we will miss his phenomenal chili and his famous Dakota meatloaf!

Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Kennedy (Russell) daughter Paula Dineen Kennedy- McCully (Brad),grandchildren Bradley, Jenna Mae and Brayden. One great granddaughter Aurora.

He is also survived by his brothers Stephen, Scott (Claudette),Bradford(Patricia) Kennedy. Nephew Samuel (Paula),Nieces Julianna (Aaron) and Shannon (Alex). Great Nephews George, Daniel and Christopher. Paul is predeceased by his parents Bernard and Beatrice(Carter) Kennedy, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, sister and brother in laws and one nephew.

Special thank you to Dr. Masoumi and Trudy for the endless support during dads journey. Thank you to the entire Palliative Care Team for their compassion during dads short visit. Thank you to the caregivers that showed dad love and laughter, when he needed it the most.

A very special thank you and love to Dave MacPhee for being dads "good buddy" and standing by him all these years, words can not express our family's gratitude. I want to personally thank my aunts and uncles for all the emotional support you have given my mother and my family. Love you all.

No visitation or funeral by dad's request. Interment at a later date in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
