Wayne K. Purdy, 82, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and respected businessman, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, integrity, and joy.

Born with a natural entrepreneurial spirit, Wayne spent much of his life building a successful career in business. He was known not only for his professional accomplishments, but also for his warm heart, quick wit, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Wayne had a deep passion for spending time with his family, always treasuring the moments shared around the dinner table, at family gatherings, or on vacations together. He was an avid golfer who found great joy on the fairways, and he loved to travel, exploring the world with curiosity and enthusiasm.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Purdy; his children, Kyle (Jacqueline), Krista (Darren), and Kelly (Lori); and his seven grandchildren, Kelsey, Courtney, Alexandra, Mackenzie, Katelyn, Zachary, and Brendan-who brought him endless pride and joy. Wayne was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, James, Isaac, and Oden.

Wayne's kindness, wisdom, and generous spirit touched all who knew him. He will be remembered not just for what he did, but for the way he lived-with purpose, love, and a smile that could light up any room.

A celebration of life will be held at the new Ashburn Golf Club Monday May 19th from 2-4pm to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to enjoy a round of golf, a walk with loved ones, or a shared story in Wayne's honor.
