Age 84 of Halifax

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving husband & father, our friend, on May 6th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends in Oakwood Terrace.

He was born on January 3rd, 1941, in Halifax, grew up in Spryfield with his loving parents, the late Frank & Viola.

He was a dedicated employee with Sobeys as a meat cutter early in his career. Then salesman and district manager for Vachon Inc for over thirty Years.

In those growing up years he loved to hunt and fish with his dad. In later years his love was his cottage on Big Mush a Mush Lake and being a member of the Halifax Antique Car Club. He had so much fun traveling with the members who he thought of as his friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline; and his son, Doug who was his pride & joy.

A sincere and special thank you to the staff of Oakwood Terrace for all their hard work and compassion they show to all the residents each & every day. For my wonderful friends & family who were there for us throughout all the years Doug suffered with dementia. God Bless each and every one of you.
