It is with deep sorrow, that we the family of Ronald James Stewart, 54, announce his passing in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Ronald and Sheila (Petrie) Stewart.

Ronald liked being surrounded by family and was incredibly talented when it came to drawing. He also loved to tinker around cars, especially his own.

A son Michael Devost survives Ronald; brother Gerard Stewart; sister Kim Stewart (Kerry Wellon); one grandchild; as well as numerous cousins.

Alongside his parents, a brother-in-law Lawrence MacDonald predeceased Ronald.

Cremation will take place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Glace Bay. 902-849-4199.

As per his wishes, there will be no service at this time.

Special thank you to the doctor and nurses in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, ICU, your care, and compassion will not be forgotten.
