We the family of Kimberly Anne Fleet announce her peaceful passing on Monday, April 14, 2025, at home with her loving husband at her side after a brief illness. Born in Glace Bay on December 4, 1966, and raised in New Aberdeen, she was the daughter of Audrey and the late Greg MacDonald.
Kim is survived by her husband William ‘Billy’ Fleet of 35 years, Mother Audrey MacDonald; brothers Sheldon (Margie) MacDonald, Robert (Darlene) MacDonald, and Ronnie (Becky) MacDonald, Alberta; nephews Chad, Corey, Ernie, Shaun (Catherine), Robert Jr., Aron (Chris), Allan (Megan) and niece Amy; grand-nieces Corrie and Quinn, and grand-nephew Travis. She is also survived by her aunt Sheila, who she loved very much, and uncle Malcolm, her precious fur babies Shiloh (her dog) and Gizzy the cat who will miss her dearly.
Alongside her dad, Kim was predeceased by her mother-in-law Judy MacDonald, both maternal and paternal grandparents, numerous aunts, and uncles, with whom she will be reunited.
We the family wish to extend our deepest gratitude to Palliative Care and the VON for the care and compassion showed to Kim during this challenging time.
Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion to T.J. Tracey Cremation and, Burial Specialists, Glace Bay. 902-849-4199. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in St. Eugene's Cemetery, Dominion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, and or the VON, Cape Breton.
