Dorothy, Jody & Doug, & Olivia; my heart breaks for your family and it was a sad day for all of us to learn such news. I spent most of my childhood at your house and will always have those incredibly fond memories. I remember Roger trying his best to teach me to drive (still isn’t my strong suit); he will be dearly missed by myself, my girls and so many others. “Life isn’t about your riches, but the richness in your life”; Roger lived a good one that is for certain.

Dot, Jody and family—this is very sad news, and Cory and I send sincerest condolences for your loss. Roger was the definition of a gentleman, always a pleasure to talk to, and willing to share his considerable mechanical knowledge. To me ,he was a pioneer in the Cape Breton “old car/custom car” culture, along with Dave Butts, Johnnie Butler, and Hughie MacQueen. He will surely be missed by many “old car guys”. I know you have many fond memories to comfort you at this time. Danny Hiscott.
