Obituary of Blair Bonaparte

We are saddened to announce the passing of Blair Bonaparte, 66, of Sydney, NS, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney, Blair was the son of Gregory and the late Christine (MacNamara) Bonaparte. He is survived by his father, Gregory Bonaparte; brothers, David (Lisa) and Brent Bonaparte, Sydney; and sisters, Beverley Power, Howie Centre, Barbara (Gerard) Cote, Glace Bay, and Phyllis McNeil (Clayton Gale), Sydney. Blair is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Darren, Ainsley, and Courtney Power; Eric and Ian Cote; Melanie, Siobhan, Natalie, and Richard McNeil; Jonathan, Brianna, and Matthew Bonaparte; and his two aunts , Maureen Linden, and Jenny MacNamara. Besides his mother, Blair was predeceased by brother-in-law, Doug Power. Blair enjoyed his visits from his family, loved his treats, and he loved music, tractors and trucks. He always had a big smile on his face and loved everyone! Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J.
