On March 21, 2025, the angels called Jane Sheila Walker home to be reunited with the love of her life, Douglas Walker.

Jane Sheila Walker(Croke), 88 of Hammonds Plains, NS, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born March 9, 1937 to Walter and May Croke.

Mom spent many long days and hours running our dad's business, Doug Walker's Cleaning, while raising our family of five. She (Queen Jane) was always well put together. She enjoyed travelling, dancing, bowling, her coffee friends, shopping, the casino, and going to get her nails done. Always with sparkles on them.

Jane is survived by her two sisters, Jean Landry and Heather Croke; her children, Douglas Walker (Paula), Kenneth Walker (Darlene), Darlene Novak (Gary), Daniel Walker (Xena), Sharon Dacey (Sean); her grandchildren, Wayne Walker (Tiffany), Krystal Walker, Lisa Walker, Brendan Dacey (Nikki), Mitchell Dacey (Ashley), Taylor Dacey (Kelsey), Zachary Novak (Nishka), Daxton Novak (Amy); great-grandchildren, Gabel, Hudson, Elisabeth, Harrison, Madeleine, Kaden, Addison, Max, and Lucy. Jane is also dearly missed by her soulmate, Mrs. B...and don't forget Tucker for all the leftover scraps mom had for him.

Special thanks to all who made it possible to keep her in the comfort of her own home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 2 pm in the Cathedral of Church of All Saints.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jane's memory to the Human Body Donation Program, Department of Medical Neuroscience, Faculty of Medicine, Dalhousie University, or the IWK.
