Cousin Jane was a true sweetheart!
DiAnne and I used to see her often with her coffee friends at Tim's. Sadly we lost touch over the last few years. Whenever you met Jane she always had that beautiful smile, and warm welcome! Our thoughts and prayers are with cousins Jeannie, Heather and all of Janes family at this time of great sadness. Jane will be happy now that she is back with her loving Doug.

I was so sad to hear of Jane’s passing as we became really good friends over the last many years. We would go out a couple times a week and we always had a lot of good laughs and really enjoyed each other’s company. Jane was a very special lady to me. I remember one night I took her out to a dance and she loved the music so I took her out on the floor in her wheelchair and we danced around the floor. She had so much fun being able to participate. We also did a lot of day trips and I remember the day we went to see the Maude Lewis museum. I took several pictures and then we usually always ended the day with our cup of tea or coffee. We shared a lot of our past with each other and I’m going to miss her so much. It makes me feel good to know we had such a wonderful bond together so until we meet again sweet lady. I love you!

RIP Ma Walker. So many memories but a couple that stick out in my mind are. For my 10th birthday she planned and hosted a surprise party for me in her backyard. That was a very special day and a wonderful gift. Her baking was amazing. We cared about each other dearly so my visits to Halifax always included tea and treats with her. I will cherish the memories and forever care about all the Walker's.
