With saddened hearts the family of Yvan Antonio Morin (Moe) of Halifax, announce his passing on Monday March 10, 2025 in Northwood Manor.
Born in Plessisville Quebec he was the son of the late, Louis and Imelda Morin, stepson of the late Fluerette Morin.
Survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Geraldine (Scully) Morin; sons, Phillip (Sharon) and Mark; grandsons, Matthew, Nicholas (Sarah) and Aaron; granddaughter, Taylor; great grandchildren, Parker and Grayson; daughter-in-law, Lesley; siblings, Serge, Violaine, Tanguay, Dominique and Jose; brothers-in-law, Yvon, Vecdi, Allan and Shawn; sisters-in-law, Peggy, Lise, Martine and Michelle; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerard and Helen (Sal) Scully; and sisters, Lorraine and Loiusette.
A chef by trade, Dads greatest joy was his time spent in many different kitchens over the last 60 years. He was especially proud of his time spent in the Reserves at the Halifax Armouries. It put a smile on his face seeing people enjoy the food that he loved to create.
