Dear Angela, & Family: I just heard about your Mother’s home going. She is now in the arms of Jesus. We’re so sorry for your great loss of your dear Mom. My Mom, Irene, was such a great friend of Ruth’s until 2018 when Mom went to heaven. They can sing together in the heavenly choirs. I became good friends with your Mom as well and we had many great talks over the years in person & by phone. She will be missed greatly. Angela and Denn, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Ruth. We always enjoyed our visits and phone calls with Ruth and appreciated her wit and love of chocolate bars! We would tell friends about Ruth who at her golden age embraced technology the way she did while she could. We would listen to her sing and reminisce about stories from Grand Manan. Angela, we are so sorry for your great loss. I remember when my mom passed away and how difficult it was. You were a wonderful daughter and cared for your mom well. I remember your parents when they lived in Truro and what I remember about your mom most was her smile and her strong will. Maybe that is why she lived so long. She was a beautiful Christian lady who loved the Lord and loved others. God bless you and keep you in the days and months ahead.

Gail and i enjoyed frienship with Ruth and Al for many tears commencing when we met at Hillside Wesleyan Church in late 1974. We had great fellowship and always enjoyed being with them. As Al has been missed, Ruth will be missed by many. Sending love to the family.

Please accept our condolences on the passing of Ruth. It was such a joy to be present for her 100th celebration. She was a wonderful asset to our former church, Hillside Wesleyan. Our 2 babies were recipients of her crocheted baby blankets as did many other newborns. She will be greatly missed.
