Heh Folks, so sorry for not commenting earlier. I have been looking for Sharman’s memorial since so sadly hearing of her passing. Anyways, I had the distinct pleasure of being a coworker of Sharman’s for 30 years. Had more than a few layover meals with her as well. Simply, a beautiful, kind, patient, lovely person whose complete love and devotion to her family was evident in every conversation that ever touched on them. All the best.

I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of my dear friend, Sharman. We met in the mid 70’s while flying with EPA. We were “Roomies” on Willow Bend Court in Halifax for 2 yrs. & we had many fun times! Sharm was a “Gem!” She will be missed! I hope the support from your family & friends helps to ease some of your sorrow.

I was so saddened to hear that Sherman passed away. To say that Sherman Scott was lovely is an understatement. She was so pleasant and kind to work with that she was the example we measured others against.
If a colleague was asking about someone they didn’t know and hadn’t worked with, we would often say “well, he/she is pleasant but they are not Sherman Scott”
These are just a few examples of some colleague’s reactions when I sent an email to informe them that Sherman had passed away. “I loved her”, “saddest news ever”, “she was a sweetheart”
Sharman often spoke of her family.

Dear Rick, Mark, April and Family.. I send my deepest condolences. Sharm meant a lot to me..we flew together our entire 40 year career. She was a wonderful kind wise friend..loved by everyone who knew her. But most of all she loved her family so very very much. Her role as wife and mother and "Grammie" was her world. I know you have many beautiful memories to help you through this sad time. Take special care of each other.

Sharman was truer than true. While many years have passed since our last encounter, I will always remember her as one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She had every quality one could ever wish for in a flight attendant and co-worker. Outgoing, caring, friendly, kind-hearted, attentive, honest and oh, so much more! Her smile speaks to the beautiful human being she was. I was touched by Sharman in life and now by her passing.
