Obituary of Sheila Laurie

Sheila (MacNeil) Laurie Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the peaceful passing of Sheila Laurie, age 71, of Glace Bay,on Monday, November 25, 2024, in the Palliative Care Unit at the Regional Hospital. Sheila was the daughter of the late Helen and William ‘Bill’ Laurie of Ontario. She is survived by her loving daughters: Shelly (Luke), Paula (Dave), Diane (Daryl), and Lori (Clayton). Sheila was a cherished grandmother to Kathleen, Anthony, Daniel, Brandon, and Emmett. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place under the care of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses in the Palliative Care Unit of Sydney Regional Hospital for their compassionate care.
