My condolences to the family. Mr Howe was my electrical teacher at Cape Breton Vocational School from 1976-77. He was an excellent instructor and very kind and caring person.
I still remember a few years ago stopping by in Mira to see my family’s old bungalow. I was gracious greeted by Morenz and Lorraine who asked us to come in to visit. We sat and talked for a few hours. I enjoyed our conversations and was proudly shown their newly renovated bungalow. You could easily see the deep pride & love in both of their faces of their beautiful family. I will always remember their kindness and hospitality. May God watch over Morenz’s loved ones and send them love and peace in this difficult time.

Morenz is my cousin his Dad Tom and my Dad Alex are brothers 2 years ago when we were visiting the east coast we paid him a visit at the Mira we had a great conversation catching up on the past our deepest condolences to his wife and family may he RIP Marv & ANN MARIE HOWIE LONDON ONTARIO

He was always so fun and ready for a laugh - especially when he was in Mira . I was so happy to see that hadn’t changed over the years when I got to stop in for a quick visit . Words cannot express how much we miss Morenz. The many chats on Bathgate Street and his visits will not be soon forgotten. He remains in our hearts and the family will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Morenz.
