Lou was a wonderful, caring, sweet and kind person. We had many laughs at the baseball games and tournaments,I miss those times, wonderful memories. The lives she touched are better for having known her.

My sympathy to the Gorman and Goguen families. Louise was a force of nature and had many friends and dear family members who loved her spirit. I was one of Lou’s roommates before she decided that Ken would be a better roomie and of course, her life partner. Although our lives seemed to go in separate directions, she was always cheerful and glad to see me when our paths crossed.
Lou was so proud of Amy and Jody and dearly loved her grandchildren. She always had a story about what was happening in their lives. Engagements, weddings, and additions to her family were very special events.
I hate that Alzheimer disease grabbed her and took her well before old age. She was a special lady. I will miss her.

We were privileged to work with her at Privateers Warehouse many years ago. Louise was hard working,reliable,and trustworthy and a joy to be around. She will be greatly missed.

Both Kim and I were saddened to read of Louise's passing this week. Early in her working life, Kim worked with Louise at the old Dresden Arms hotel, and then in '99 I was posted to the JLC school in Windsor Park. When Louise and I made the connection we shared a great laugh at the coincidence!! During our three-year work relationship, we had a lot of great conversations about all kinds of things, mostly Amy's journey to nursing and Jody's hockey career. She was so proud of you, even when you drove her crazy!! Our deepest condolences on the loss of Louise, may she rest in peace.

Ken and family: so very sorry for the hardship Lou and her family endured during her struggles with Alzheimer’s Disease. Lou is at peace now and thanks to Northwood, Ken and family were able to visit and support Lou while nurses and care team provided excellent care. Rest in peace Lou.
