Well Known Car Salesman

William R. Spicer (Bill) Sr., age 73 of Spryfield, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2017 at the QEII Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bill was a son of the late Reginald and Marie (Fitzpatrick) Spicer, of Halifax.
Bills working career spanned from the Halifax Forum, Offman furniture as a carpet and drapery installer, to his greatest achievement following in his father’s footsteps, as a gifted car salesman having won the highest distinction as a 7-time Summit Award winner for top sales in Canada.
Bill was an avid sports fan, having played ball and hockey, and as a teen was a draft pick for the Kitchener Rangers. He had a witty personality and always had a comeback answer. A good friend to many.
Bill is survived by his wife Bernice (Jessome); sons, Billy (Juanita), Stephen (Theresa), Jason (Chantel), John (Adrianna), Ottawa. Bills greatest joy was his grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas, Jordan, Rebecca and Miley; great-grandson Roman William born the day before his passing. He is also survived by brothers, Jack (Darlene), Michael (Sharon), Don (Theresa); sisters, Anne (Bob) Hiltz, Elaine (Ken) Peters; sister-in-law, Shirley; as well as many nieces and nephews. Honorary grandchildren, Arielle, Dante, Sophia, Anjilique, Mallory, Madison, Charlotte and Sophie.
Bill was predeceased by his parents; brother Reg and niece Sherri.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, (902) 835-4212. Family interment will be held Saturday, May 13th at 11am in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Expressions of sympathy for the family may be made at www.tjtracey.com
