    Dear Mrs Dillman and family,

On behalf of my mother Betty and my wife Shelley, I extend our condolences on the loss of Wilfred. The times he spent visiting with my father in hospital prior to Dad’s passing in 2012 are very much appreciated. To quote my mother, “the world is a better place because Wilfred, a very noble man, was in it”. With sincerest prayers,

    Dear Joyce,

I always remember fondly the great conversations I had with Wilf when we would meet. He was such a kind and genuine person, and was always so interested in what was happening with me and my family. I’m sending my deepest condolences to you, your children and grandchildren. Family was so important to Wilfred and he spoke proudly of all of you.
I am thinking of you all and know that you will cherish all of your wonderful memories.
    Love,

Dear Joyce and family: My sincere condolence to all the family. Wilfred will be remembered for his kindness and gentle manner. His peacefulness he carried within with his quiet and strong faith he portrayed to others and especially those great hugs he gave. One knew everything would be alright and things would smooth over after a few encouraging words. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. Love to all, Jane (Hankinson) Penner

Joyce it is with regret that I note Wilfreds passing. He was the one and only gooseberry jam maker that we served in all our time at the farm in Malagash and we always looked forward to your visit. Know you have many happy memories shared wit the struggles that Wilfred experienced. Blessing to you and the family. Bob Barbour
