Coming late to this announcement, and sorry to hear about Bob. I worked with him at Theatre Arts Guild in the 1970s, where he managed set crews and overall house management, among other things. He was a terrific volunteer and a very kind man. I was just re-packing some of my personal memorabilia in preparation for a move when I came across a letter he wrote to me not long after I left Halifax. I was just wondering where he was now. So sorry to have missed a last chance to directly convey my appreciation for his friendship.

The memories of us playing as kids will be forever etched in my mind. The carefree days of play and getting into trouble.
    I will miss you uncle
    Rest in peace

Please accept the sincere sympathy of the Officers and Members of Acacia Lodge No. 39 in Bridgewater.

As Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia, Hon. Past Grand Master Northup was always there when we needed guidance. He will be missed.

    Sincerely

Saddened by Bob’s passing. We worked together at NSPC, and developed a great friendship during that time. Thought of him often over the years. Blessings.
