Our sincerest condolences to all of the family. Although we did not know Basil very well, we were always aware of his activities with the fiddlers and aware of his many talents. May loving memories give you the strength to carry on through this sad time.

Sorry to hear this news Betty Ann, Suzanne and Greg.
Sure glad I got to see Basil those times in Florida a few years back.
I have great memories of visiting Nova Scotia as a kid, and am glad I got to see how wonderful of a man Basil was once I was an adult too. R.I.P. Uncle Basil.

On our many trips to the Maritimes, we had many memorable opportunities to interact with you and Basil at the various Fiddle Clubs. We always enjoyed those opportunities and appreciated the fact Basil came with others to entertain Sandys’ mother at the Berkley.

    We shall miss him.

We extend our sympathies to you and the family.

We’re praying for you and family for comfort and peace on the loss of Basil, Betty Ann. He was a great friend and co-worker. My memories go back 60+ years. He was a quiet and easy going buddy, which made him a joy to work with. One memory I have is us driving a CBC truck to Ottawa and back. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to accomplish that. “Rest in peace” old friend.
