    Donnie is going to be deeply missed by so many people that knew over the years so so sorry for the family loss

    as Donnie knew my husband as his brother in law Doug and Carol

    Sorry; looks like the site did not receive my first condolence. To repeat: Olive and family; I am sorry to hear of Donnie’s death. I knew Donnie when I worked for City of Halifax / HRM for many years as well. Donnie was very proud of the work he did and his years at City of Halifax. Once retired, Donnie often stopped by the greenhouse when he was in the city for a medical appointment. He loved to chat and hear the latest scoop, so to speak. Donnie was always positive about his life and health. I am sure this is a very difficult time for all who loved Donnie. God Bless. Maureen Cullen

    Kris and I are very sorry to hear of Don’s passing. When we came to Ellershouse he was one of the first people we met….He was always very kind and helpful a true friend to me and for that I will always be grateful….may he rest in peace…..
