Dear Dave, Jeremy, and Steven. Diane and I are saddened to hear of Alex’s passing and we wanted to send you a message to let you know our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Dave although we have not touched bass in a long time I often think back of my YOUNGER days and remember the wonderful times we had together and fabulous meals the four of us shared. The famous fondue where the dining room chair caught on fire, (at least that’s the story) The many superb glasses of wine, some right from the carboy. And oh so many great laughs. Alex had such a great sense of humour and it was obvious to Diane and myself how well suited you were for each other. I hope your heart is lightened when you remember all those fond memories and know she is finally at peace.
    With kindness regards

Dave, Jeremy and Steven, I am deeply saddened to learn that Alex has passed away. It was only a few days ago I was yet again telling the story of when I ran out of food and money completely while in college and how, upon hearing my sad story, Alex put together am amazing care package for me. I think that story is a wonderful measure of Alex as a person – the spirit and compassion to do that for some kid she didn’t know. Take heart in having been blessed to have such a wonderful woman in your lives and think of the good times. Julie and I will have you in our thoughts and prayers.

MacDave! Audrey and I are so sorry to learn of your loss. We remember Alex from the great dinners we had together, years ago. She was a beautiful person and I know she will be missed.
Our condolences to you and your two boys.
